Have you ever wondered, “”What should we do?”” or “”How much do we need to score to compete?”” This presentation will cover various tools and methods for utilizing data to inform strategic decisions.

In this talk, we will cover the use of scoring calculators, simulations, and trade-off analysis to help guide decisions and set expectations throughout your season, starting as early as kickoff. Discussion will include setting scoring targets, properly comparing to other teams, and setting match roles.

About the Presenter:

Austin Haddox has 13 years of FRC Experience, working with 2085 (6 years) and 1678 (7 years). He currently serves as the lead strategy and scouting mentor for 1678. I also worked as one of the lead mentors for 1678’s 2020 Game Design Submission. I spend a lot of kickoff working with spreadsheets, analyzing the different actions of the game, and I am excited to share my process with you!
