Event OVERVIEW

We anticipate a full schedule of quality workshops, roundtables and panel discussions Saturday and Sunday and coordinated dinner locations for networking on Friday night.

Event Location

The FIRST Mentor Conference will be taking place in Santa Clara, CA. More information coming soon.

Anticipate warm, sunny California summer weather during the event!

accommodations

Accommodations will have to be self-arranged by attendees. Registered attendees are able to join the #housing channel in the conference slack (access given upon registration) for ease of discussing sharing hotels, Airbnbs, etc. Hotel suggestions in proximity to the venue, coming soon.

Friday Night Events

For Friday night, we have organized a local robotics team lab tour for the night before the conference (Friday, August 23rd, 5:00 – 9:00pm), for FMC attendees to be able to interact with local teams, see different lab configurations, and network with each other.

After the lab tours, attendees and guests can optionally meet at Guildhouse Bar to socialize pre-conference. Please check the attendee slack (or the email sent to registered attendees) for details about the lab tour locations and specific times.

Saturday evening is reserved for you to connect with attendees outside the conference.
