FRC is not just a robotics competition, but also a vehicle for building strong individual mindsets and communities. Setting a positive team culture goes a long way towards reaching those program goals. Explore some of the fundamentals and lessons learned that have allowed us to start and build award winning FRC teams and develop a new generation of leaders and mentors.

About the Presenters:

Anupam Goli has been doing FRC since he started as a student in 2009 with team 1002 and Kellen Hill’s FRC career started in 2005 as a student on team 1625.

Anupam Goli has gone on to mentor teams 1648, 1746/1833, and started 9477. Anupam was the recipient of the WFFA for PCH in 2025. Anupam’s prior speaking engagements include, GA FIRST Symposium 2023, FMC 2024, SCRIW 2024, and being a Teacher

Kellen Hill’s FRC career started in 2005 as a student on team 1625. He has since mentored teams 525, 1746/1833, and 10482. Kellen was the recipient of the WFFA for PCH in 2022. He is currently a mentor for FRC 1833 & 10482, and is on the PCH planning committee.
